You are kidding me? There's no way I'd've thought..

that there are ABSOLUTELY no posts for this film whatsoever!!
I mean I know it's not a classic and I know it's probably long-forgotten but I remember when it came out- only bleedin' 19 years ago!!- and it seemed really starry and cool.
It had hot property of the time - Kiefer, Emily Lloyd and -yes, she was hot back then- Patsy Kensit and was directed by the same guy responsible for the cult 80s film Paperhouse. He also went on to direct Candyman and then Gary Oldman in Immortal Beloved.
I am surprised the user review I saw on IMDB page called it boring and gave it 1 star and then I see that I'm the first- and only- post for this film.
Maybe it's because it hasn't been shown much over the years on TV..I dunno, maybe.
I remember it being a decent film. Set during the era of World War II in London- it was sexy, mysterious and had a good story. I think it was trying to be crime- noir but it had a good style.
I am not exactly pining to see it again- and I accidentally came to the board because I was linking from Keith Allen's profile page and remembered he was in this too- but I would watch it again now.
I used to have a VHS copy of this and for a period of time I loved the video cover and the film itself. Haven't seen it for about 16 years though now,
Why is this forgotten when Kiefer Sutherland was and is a big Hollywood star?

Not only that, but it's based on a very interesting true story.
As you can see, the film made only 85,000 $ in the box office. It never had a proper marketing.

Yes true and it flopped also because the movie was released directly to
video in the USA therefore the distributor didn't market and promote
the film at all. I saw it on the shelf at my local neighborhood video
rental store and took a chance on it.
