I bought this on DVD from the local "Poundland"...where yeah, everything is only £1.00. How can you go wrong?!?! Robert Vaughan....Donald Pleasence...ARNOLD VOSLOO...for a quid!

I paid a dollar for the VHS of this film from the clearance bin of a record store. Actually, it was even cheaper, because it was "buy three, get one free." Even though this may be horrible, it has some decent actors.

Yes, remarkable that so many good actors would agree to participate in such a junk project.

Absolutely. Donald Pleasence, Robert Vaughn, John Carradine? Maybe this looked good on paper, especially as a Poe project, but the execution is horrible.

I have to see this flick again, last time i saw it i was 6 and it was just released on VHS.

I bought it from the same place. You're absolutely right - it's worth paying a quid to see Robert Vaughn and Donald Pleasance in a movie together. And then there's John Carradine's hilarious cameo.

Here in the US we have an expression "taking someone to Poundtown". It means something completely different than "taking someone to Poundland"! LOL!
