PULLMAN + PAXTON

I just love that they got BILL PULLMAN & BILL PAXTON in the same movie.

Hahahahahahaha! The only reason I'm ON this board is because I looked up Pullman and Paxton together...hilarious.

I suspect the reason Bills Paxton and Pullman signed on to the film is to prove that they aren't the same person.

reply

...or are they?
Duh-dun-duuunnnn!

Obviuosly not. Bill Pullman, in reality, is Lone Starr, intergalactic mercenary. Also the President of the USA, as we learned in the documentary "Independence Day." He chases tornadoes for fun.

Bill Paxton, in his memoir film "Frailty," confessed that he is a serial killer doing God's work. He is Matthew MacConaughey's dad, and is the guy that taught young Matt to kill Curly Bill Brocius. He was also a firefighter for a time, but had to quit after an unfortunate run-in with Detective Odafin Tutuola and the rap group NWA. His brother is Wyatt Earp, and he was on the Titanic.

Two completely different people. Sorry to make poopy on your dreams, folks.

reply

I thought Paxton chased Tornadoes not Pullman. Pullman is a psychologist who helps dead people move on.

The global business climate is like... whatever, dude.

reply

Pullman also happens to be the world's greatest detective! (The incredibly underrated movie ZERO EFFECT!!!! see it people he's great in it!)

Paxton was also a sleezy used car salesman who wanted to sleep with Schwartzenegger's wife Jamie Lee Curtis...but Schwartzenegger put a stop to his used car salesman career, and now as we all now he lives with three wives in a little community in Utah!

paxton also had some problems trying to run anisland resort where the guests kept ending up dead---man that paxton has had some varied careers in his day.

reply

Unfortunately, Bill Paxton is no longer with us after he went alien hunting and got eaten.

reply

I find it interesting that in this movie, they are never in the same scene together.

reply

what are you talking about? they have a couple of scenes together! there's a scene where Pullman is eating in a restaurant with his wife and Paxton! Right there that's a scene. Thre's also a quick scene where Pullman is lying in unconscious in a hospital bed and Paxton is standing there next to Pullman's wife. See that's two scenes right there. I'd say they don't have many scenes together as Paxton really only has a minor role in the film (where Pullman is the film) but they're both in those 2 scenes fo sho.

reply

What the hell are you talking about?? Have you even SEEN the movie? There's only the one scene where they're "together", when Pullman is talking to Paxton's character behind the curatin, and then Pullman goes behind the curtain and there's a jump cut to the plate of berries.

There is a difference between nihilism and model agnosticism. Look it up kid.

Plate of shrimp.

It can be used to make women pregnant. Sometimes this also works on men.

reply

Shrimp, Berries. Paxton, Pullman. They all look the same in the dark.

I'm letting that one go, Foghorn Leghorn.

reply

That does explain the scene at the very end of the movie.

Leaving them dead does make for easy storage.

reply

Paxton is really CHET.

reply

And Paxton's wonderful (no sarcasm) over the top acting like he's Matrix's Mr. Smith half the time... Great combo.

Haha. For the longest time, I always used to get their names mixed up. I have it all figured out now.

Yeah it was definitely awesome seeing these two in the same movie together

Now alls i need is a movie that features both Keith David and David Keith. I don't think they have ever worked together before. Any other actor pairs that kinda have the same ying-yang thing going on with their names?
