I just discovered this movie

And I love it! It's so simple, yet satisfying. And I love Chris Young! I'm surprised he didn't become some kind of teenage heart-throb or something! Anyway, it's kind of sad to see he didn't do very much since this flick, and I hope he's doing okay. It seems like the girl who played Gina has done really well, though. That's always good. I love movies with a 1950's time setting. They just have a nice feel to them. I also loved the style of comedy in this movie. In some ways it's very subtle, which I enjoy.

Alright, that's all I wanted to say! :o)

I first discovered this movie back in the early 90's when I went to a video store and rented the movie. I loved it and enjoyed watching it. Then I saw it on USA Network back in the day when they would show movies like this and on WGN out of Chicago on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and even late on a Saturday night!

I have not seen it in a while and wished that they would show this again! It would be nice you know.

I remember getting the VHS of House Party when it came out (which I still watch regularly to this day) and they show the trailer for Book of Love before it (R-rated version trailer too!). Picked up the VHS used in a video store years later, but really never met anyone else that had ever even heard of the movie. Low and behold though that 18 years later, the movie actually gets played on Comedy Central now. I must've seen it on two dozen times last month.

I remember when USA Network use to show it a lot back in the early 90's! Even WGN out of Chicago would show it as well back in the day on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and even late on a Saturday night.

I rented this movie from a family video store that closed down about 10 years ago and they did very good business too against Block Buster and Hollywood Video. I liked it a lot too!
