Latin sentence at prom

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!

Anyone noticed the latin "slogan" of the school at the prom?
Red sign with white letters saying "rectum propte sepse"
or something... Considering the sound of it it seems like a goof but to be sure I couldn't rely on my school latin...

So does anyone know what it means? ;)

from what you've written it translates:
right because of sepsis

my guess is you have the last word wrong....?
