What Car Was This???

Ever since the first time I watched this movie, I've wanted to know what is the Model and Make of the car Angelo drives when Jack is under the hood fixing his car. Does anyone know this?

I believe that Angelo drives a 55 Mercury. It's a really sweet car. They had a really small back window, and they were really mean looking. A lot of gangsters drove em back in the day.

I believe it's a Mercury 49-51 Club Coupe. The one Angelo is driving seems to be modified a bit though,(shaved door handles and all emblems removed) so it's hard to say exactly but there are two noticeable features on it. The car has a split windshield with two front spotlights which is distinct to the Mercs of 49-51.

I think it was a 50 with a chopped and channeled roof

Yeah I believe it was a 49 Mercury

Actually it's a 51 Mercury. You can tell by the stock grille. Chopped, shaved, nosed and decked. Just like a true custom should be. This particular vehicle I just found out belonged to a guy named Harry Mohoff
