It was an international sensation.
Maybe not, but it was well appreciated in Italy.
Jamie Lee Curtis won for Best Actress In Italy and France and Kathryn Bigelow got a nomination at the Mystfest. Not bad for an American Horror Movie without stupid cliche "Monsters".
