Another great Jamie Lee Curtis vs stalker movie

An early Jamie Lee Curtis and an early Kathryn Bigelow combine to form a slick cop thriller. Jamie was great here and Ron Silver was creepy as hell. Bigelow drops suttle issues such as a woman trying to fit in the police force that's predominantly male.

I think that’s why it works despite the absurd implausibilities, it’s really a low key horror film with JLC dating the killer.

People mistake it for some kind of police procedural because she’s a cop but this is much more playful and closer to something like Psycho (starring JLC’s mother)
