Scene from the Movie taken from Doris Stokes

I noticed one of the scenes from this movie looked highly familiar. It was taken from a TV program in the UK about a British Spritualist called Doris Stokes. It has been a long time since I saw this movie, and longer since that I saw the program about Doris, but there was something about a little boy (from the other side!) that wanted to take flowers for his mum. This Scene had been taken verbatim from one of Doris's 'audiences'... Spooky!

That's very interesting. The scenes in this film seem very authentic, like they were lifted from real-life communications with the dead, so that's no surprise. Or maybe I was just convinced by Rosanne Arquette's terrific performance here.
