What is that song/melody called?

At the end of the movie when rich said "pleased to meet you mary ann" and then the next scene where they show the boat music plays...what is that song called?

reply

I don't know but I'm looking for it myself. It's just beautiful. How come nobody has answered this question yet? AND, it can't be found anywhere on IMDB either.

aaron neville - bird on a wire
;)

reply

No, not that one. I know that song and it's not "Bird On A Wire".
It's just an orchestra, it's a medley. Nobody sings on it.
It's RIGHT after, immediately after she pulls him from the rope ladder after he tells her, "Your just gonna let the father of your children become tiger meat"? And she pulls him from the rope ladder thing and they both fall and he acts like he has amnesia. And she is asking him if he remembers her and tells him, we were suppose to get married and have children." After he starts laughing and she knows he doesnt have amnesia THAT song, starts playing.
It starts playing immediatly after that scene, and right BEFORE Aaron neville starts singing "Bird On A Wire".

Does ANYBODY know what the name of this song is?
What CD it is on?
And where can I buy it?

THIS is the song. But I still have no idea what the name of it is.

I found it on this website:

The soundtrack was never released. And the staff at Hans-Zimmer.com won't share the whole track due to copyright reasons. Therefore, it's a bootleg. And won't ever be released officially.

what is the instrument in that song that plays the melody of it? it sounds like a stringed instrument of some sort? not the violins or piano or drums, but that other louder stringed instrument, sounds almost caribbean or hawaiian style or something. any help would be great. thanks

And now I wanna ask you about the version of the first song of the movie. The song is Age Of Aquarius, but ... the original of that song is sooo different. Can you tell me where i can find the version from the main titles? It's so cool.

reply

e-nedialkov, i have been wanting to know who did that song for like 2 years now. It does sound really cool. they don't even tell u who did it in the credits, which i find very strange, seeing as they have a list of all the other songs, and they don't mention the first one that is played. weird. but yeah, someone tell me as well please

reply

apparently you haven't found that song yet, so, to you and to e-nedialkov, and mattcarey10 and the rest of users that hope for an answer:

...the name of that song is 'The Character Themes' 05'05mins. and the other one is 'Aquarius' 02'44mins., tracks 1 & 3 of disc 1 of the 'Bird on a wire score by Hans Zimmer' which you can find as a torrent in google -altough a little heavy 240mb or so-..the entire score and that theme are really good!! and has some variations according to the different scenes

Good luck!
