question about song/melody right before 'bird on a wire' track at end

does anyone know what the stringed instrument (sounds caribbean or island in tone almost) that plays the melody of the instrumental piece right before "bird on a wire" starts playing (like right after he pretends he has amnesia)? because i'm really curious to know what that instrument is, it's very beautiful

I know I feel dumb for some reason, but I too kinda like this song and movie.I had a very nice memorable date I took to it when it first premired.I feel this song was made for the movie, but I could be wrong. It was played through the movie begining-end.The singer sounded very farmilliar but I don`t know who it was.

i think the stringed instrument is a harp, (or possibly a lute/lyre), but hard to say for definite because not exactly sure which instrument you're refering to as other string instruments playing as well.

why don't you check it on the original score of this movie? it has 27 tracks on it, just google it and you'll find a torrent file quite easy -the composer is Hans Zimmer-
Hope this help you
