What happened to the father at the end?
I saw the edited TV version, where the father of the family (Dan Lauria) is killed. However, I heard that the longer version has him living.
What happens in the longer version?
Yah, After the daughter says, "Nothing will ever be the same again" They hear something outside and the mother pulls out a gun. She points the gun at the window and its him outside with a bandage on his head. He shouts for them and they run outside and hug and baul there eyes out.
