Just watched this last night after having recently seeing the first one, and WOW!! What a difference.
BC2 just goes way off in another direction and gets really weird. Theres the nice but insane Dr. Freak and her rather odd g/daughter Susan. All the other 'freaks' that live up in the attic. Man they were ugly. Of course their's Belial and his new found love Eve.

I think i liked Duane more in this film, his character development seems more in tune with whats actually going on around him. Its here that he realises that he is the only normal one.

I loved the scene in the bar where Duane meets up with the paper editor and all the other freaks show up and kill him.

The scene that freaked me out the most was when Susan and Duane were about to get it on and there is the old 'theres something you should know about me' line. WOW!! I would rather not know, when that thing coming flying out oh stomach screaming and snapping away i was like 'can this film get any more weird'.

Im looking forward to seeing the third one now. I did actually enjoy this considering how bazaar it is.

This movie really is a masterpiece of modern cinema. The freaks er genius (the concept and how they act).

I love in particular the scene with the cameraman flashing his camera in the attic, that was a really good frightening scene.

And ofcourse the scene in the bar when Duane is finding out how normal he is. Great writing!

But my favourite is when they attack the news woman and turn her into a 'freak' as well.

Yeah, I watched this last night and when they...altered...Sherri's face, I couldn't help but mumble "one of us, one of us" :P

This was the first one I saw, back in 1999 and I was 8 years old or so. I didn't see the first until I was 10, almost 11. I do like it better but I have a major soft spot for the 2nd and have good memories of the first time watching it. Though it's funny, for some reason I remember it ending after the Editor was killed in the bar, but I later bought that same tape I rented back then and of course it goes on for another 20 minutes, ha ha ha.

I like all 3 films equally. Love it when that bitch journalist, Sherrie, gets "altered", Phil dies in the bar and when Arty dies at the house. They all get what's coming to them!

I knew the freaks were going to be fun.
I didn't know how bizarre and wild it would get.
The murders, the sex, the monster baby.....all good stuff.
It all surprised me and for that I can't wait to watch the 3rd.
I hope it is just as insane and great.

There's nothing normal about Duane. He is arguably the craziest nutcase in this trilogy.

im watching Basket Case 2 on Tubi right now tonight. Its not too bad but the movie is strange and copying everything from the old movie Freaks.

that and Duane is mental or something lol. He wants to get away from Belial and live a normal life but then he stiches Belial back to his body for what exactly?

Stuff like that in the movie really doesnt make a whole lot of sense.

Its like the writers and directors pretty much ran out of story and end up changing Duane's idea of living with or without Belial
