Basket Case 1 was fun,funny,thrilling and had a neat set of characters. This one is just plain flat. They trivialize the whole thing with that freak nursing home so there's no real thrill about it. The characters are flat and there's no intrigue in the plot.
4/10. Won't even try Basket Case 3. The original was classic-tier B-movie and my memory of it has been degraded enough with this cheap movie.

shareThis one could have been better if it focused more on Belial and Duane and not all those other ridiculous looking deformed freaks. Henenlotter should have used that concept for another movie (maybe called House of Freaks or something) because it really took away my enjoyment of this one. It's a shame too because the Belial effects were way better this time around, he looked quite real. Plus, I missed the sleazy New York City setting of the first film.
