... bang Marti and spend half the film chasing about after him like his mother Lorraine did in Part 1?

I always found that aspect confusing. Even more so given that Marti looks almost identical to her husband.

Whereas Lorraine was married to a homely geeky spud that looked a lot like Crispin Glover (talk about a cold shower), Marti's G-G-Grandmother was already married to a short, cute guy with a turned up nose that looked a lot like Michael J. Fox.
