Is Danica Mckellar in this movie?? (you might remember her as Whinny from The Wonder Years). In the scene where Williams takes Deniro for an outing, the camera scans on a girl who looks excatly like Danica!! Tell me, is it really her. Her bio on IMDB doesn't site Awakenings at all, but it's got to be her.

If she was actually in the film, she'd just have been an extra, and extras arent credited. Check that her age corresponds with the year the movie was filmed and you should get your answer.

Maybe it was another girl who looked like Danica. But I doubt that she would have been an extra in this film. Danica was already famous for playing Winnie Cooper at the time this film was made and famous celebrities generally do not appear as extras.
shareI could have sworn it was her too! Looked exactly like her. But yes, then I looked at the date for this movie, and realized she already would have been known as Winnie at that time. Must have just been a coincidence.
