Holds up very well over time

Just rewatched this probably for the first time in decades. Still a really well done monster film. Loved that there was no CGI, or if there was I couldn't tell. There were so many tense moments with the little spiders about to bite people and then didn't. Forgot that John Goodman was in this and he was hilarious. The scene where the giant spider jumps on Daniels in the cellar and he is trying to throw it off his chest and it keeps crawling very fast still gave me the creeps.

Yep, it’s a modern classic and needs to be recognised as such.

Spiders are not monsters

also not seen this probly since it was released.

I remember the giant web in the barn , and when an old guy puts his slipper on , that has one in it .
"Felt like a damn cougar!"

Excellent creature feature. Hope the remake falls through the cracks.
