Was there a dropped plot thread about Reggie being framed for stealing the prison payroll money and receiving an extended sentence? The film clearly suggests that he's being truthful about being set up, but it never follows up on it. Anyone know?
shareProlly part of the 20 minutes that got cut out according to Brion James. He was pissed that a mojority of his scenes got cut out, so there is an alternate version of this film somewhere. I always found it weird that they never brought up the extended sentence after it was first mentioned.
shareI've read that deleted plot point explained that the Iceman "Ben Kehoe" had framed Reggie for stealing the payroll in the hopes he'd be killed while in prison.
shareAh yes. That makes sense. It also adds some weight to Reggie's debt to Kirkland Smith who says he kept Reggie alive for 5 (extra) years.
