I actually loved this move and wondered if anyone heard any DVD rumors on it? Don't even own a VCR anymore.

Unfortunately there's still nothing planned right now. It's been on my wish list for a long time with Robin Hood: Men in Tights as the only two movies on my list that haven't been released yet. (Region 1 at least)

Everyone, I had the same question that you have about this being released on dvd, it is the only Paul Hogan movie worth buying that I don't have on DVD, if you all did what I did, it might be on DVD before you know it, go to paramount's web site, and get the phone number and give them a call, when a rep called me back he told me that requests for the movies release on DVD is how they get release, so I told him that I wanted it and he said if they continue to get requests for it's release that's when it will be released.

I have to admit that following the first Crocodile Dundee movie, Almost an Angel is the best Paul Hogan picture. And, I have to agree that Almost an Angel has some dumb moments - like the drug dealers scene. In fact, the last ten minutes of the movie are what really pull it together and make it as good as it is (in my opinion). I strongly support this movie being released onto DVD. Maybe going to homevideo.universalstudios.com and writing the studio and asking for a DVD release might help spur them to release it. If enough people are interested, they're bound to put it out there.
shareAlmost and Angel is my favorite as well. Buyt Lightning Jack has me laughing, the day it got released on DVD, I bought it. The day Almost an Angel comes out on DVD, I will buy it, too! Glad to see others who like Paul Hogan mobvies. I think the movie Shrimp on the Barbie with Cheech Marin, was good, too. I think Cheech and Paul, should do some kind of outback movie together, it would be pretty damn funny!

BEWARE don't do business with Donnie Grimes/ fan_attic/hidden_masterpeace;
after 6 months I'm out 30 bucks, and 9 out of 10 times I get no reply to emails, and when I get a reply I get nothing but stories and promises.
Gullible me believes it all, but in the end, I'm still out 30 bucks, and still no dvd, so you understand my trust is way gone.
Legend Films has announced a Region 1 DVD of this film that can be ordered on-line on April 1st.

Ahh yes this title i came across on amazon. it's available on DVD now, one my favorites too, after all the dundee films.
