Not just in movies about planes, just generally in movies. Martin Scorsese has used it at least 3 times in Goodfellas, Casino and The Departed, but not, surprisingly in Shine a Light, the Stones documentary he did. Also off the top of my head, it was used in the films Adventures in Babysitting, The Fan and Layer Cake, but there'd be plenty of others too I reckon.🐭
