The best part of the movie was the impromtu version of 'I Ain't Got You'


Totally surprising that Dice had actual singing talent; a great number - it gives credence to an otherwise funny but not great movie. I'd be willing to pay to see any sequel.

I think the "talent" being promoted by the Wayne Newton character was satirizing Michael Bolton and other corporate picked singers.

I think there should be a combined sequel, "Ford Fairlane, Rock & Roll Detective meets Ace Ventura, Pet Detective". Sort of like the squeezing out of the last bit of the two franchises of Abbott & Costello and Frankensein by combining them in one movie.

Yes,the best part is when Dice sings. I wonder how it would look if Dice re-created this scene in one of his shows today(now that he's older & no longer banned by MTV).
