the main character says

" Ive hated England I always have, I hate the way they dis pronounce everything and its so cold. what does this thing run on batteries? (refering to a mini, an English car and not the best of the English cars"

Imagine if they had been in Isreal " I hate the Jews, I always have, i hate the way they talk , what does this Jew car run on, batteries?"

The English aren't a race. The Jews are.

I didn't especially care for Peter's dismissive attitude towards England and the English, which is particularly weird when he ends up marrying one, but admittedly most of the English people he meets in the film are upper-class jerks, and to be fair, there are a lot of upper-class jerks in England.
