Diana and Victor

A previous poster on this board mentioned the possibility of the no-nonsense Diana meeting the snooty Hyacinth from "Keeping Up Appearances", but what if Diana had met her male counterpart, the grumpy pensioner Victor Meldrew from "One Foot in the Grave"!

I've been thinking about it and have been very interested to know other posters' opinions. Do you think they'd get on like a house on fire and put the world to rights, or do you think their personalities would be too similar for them to get on?

Please let me know what you all think about this!

Diana's and Victor's personalities are too similar for any "good" chemistry to occur. They would probably get on each other's nerves and project negative vibes. I can't imagine a series with those two characters lasting more than a few episodes. Balance is needed, a Ying and Yang.
