This show is horrible...

....yes.

Then vote with your remote, and don't watch it!

It has its ups and downs, but I do find it entertaining. Diana Trent is the one who really carries the show!

OK, so what's the speed of dark?

...no.

...no. You fail.

*puts up sign, reads: DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS*

Anyone who posts on a newsgroup or board for something like a who saying "THIS SHOW SUCKS!" or words to that effect and doesn't even bother to say anything else (except for maybe 'nuff said or EOM) is simply trolling.

Indeed, this poor sad lonely pathetic person (imagine how Diana would go on at them!) probably never even came back to this board after posting this pithy trollbait message. Simply knowing the shows fans will be up in arms gives them that satisfaction that their pointless existance has somehow been validated in this godless cosmos by making people respond to their tiny little pointless voice in the endless dark cold cosmic fugue. (sorry, just got done watching WFG a few minutes ago in a recording and Diana was in full swing!)

Okay. You are officially my hero. :)

VERY well put. Diana would be proud. ;)

I believe the 90s and early 2000s marked the end of excellent British comedy. Today, it is all about parents being in the child's role and the children thinking they are 35. Absolute rubbish.

Poster Simplex992 hit it right on the head.
If you're going to say that a show (or a movie) is "terrible," you need to say why. Is the acting terrible? The casting? The plot? The music? What?
Perhaps even more important, Why is the show "terrible" TO YOU? Explain why the show offends you.
In this case, are you an elderly citizen who is offended by the way the elderly are portrayed? Can you give specific examples? Are you a young person who doesn't (or can't) relate to the show's premise? Are you a non-Brit who doesn't understand British humor or doesn't care for it? Explain, explain.
Negativism is so, well, negative.

This show is FANTASTIC, and the third season is easily their best. (Followed by 2 and 1...)

I guess the first logical question would be...HAVE YOU EVER EVEN SEEN THE SHOW? Now if you had a valid reason for not liking it, I would have a much easier time taking you seriously. Like Diana reminds you of your great aunt Rita who used to beat you with a stick. Or Harvey is just like a boss you once had who jipped you on pay. Or your head was so far lodged up your rectum that you were unable to see the television clearly at the time. As Diana once said, "If you would put your head on the floor, I would endeavor to kick it clean off your shoulders." Sounds like you're not using it for much anyway. Might be an improvement....

Like I said, my hero Diana carries this show!

Then don't watch it.

That's one of your rights in a free country:

1* someone makes something
2* you don't have to watch
3* the show will still be made for those that want it

Well, point 3 depends on how free one's country is, of course. :D

The cast and the writing are fabulous.

Yes they are. This is one of the few British comedies I'll watch over and over again whenever my local PBS station airs it.
