It ended with a kind of meta commentary as a "Hollywood" production stepped in to tell Arkane's story. I believe a murder mystery plays out. Ultimately a disappointing conclusion to the Swamp Thing TV show, but its very existence was truly something special. From the first film to the last episode of the series, a filmed Swamp Thing adaptation just reeks of odd decision making. This is literally DC's cinematic follow up to its Successful Chris Reeves Superman franchise. Also unique is that Swampthing was played by the same actor all the way from Wes Craven's original movie to this final bizarre episode of the Swamp Thing saga.
