I remember watching this show as a kid. I never knew Didi Conn was Stacey or Ringo was the conductor! Anyways, I remember in one episode (I think it was the end) Stacey went off with some guy? Is that right or am I thinking of something else. What did happen in the last episode?

It was about these crooks who stranded the Queen of England near Shining Time. Everyone in town thinks she's nuts, while the prince wanders off and makes friends with the kids. It ended with the crooks in a truck chasing Schemer through the countryside on a motorcycle, while Stacy and Mr King head them off at a crossing with a switcher engine. I'm not making this up.
Anyway, no one left in the end, I don't know what you're thinking of.
