Anybody Else See an Uncanny Resemblance

between She-wolf of London and Buffy. I have been saying for years that the comparisons are almost uncanny even though Whedon got most of his material from various comics he acquired.

Ian Matheson > Rupert Giles = Stuffy knowledge type that is a veritable source of all information dealing with the occult

Randi Wallace > Buffy Summers = Young woman with a dark secret imbued with unholy demonic powers which are used to fight for the cause of justice


Matheson Family > Scooby Gang = Create involvement with the lead characters and get unduelly involved in week to week episodes dealing with the occult and must be saved and work together with the heroine to survive.
