Best Guest Role

What is your favorite 1 or 2 episode character? Mine is Morty Seinfeld’s rival acquaintance from Florida. The one with The Pen. He’s so cantankerous! Cracks me up.

I love Bob Cobb aka "The Maestro" think he played in two episodes (?)
totally hilarious dude

reply

Love that guy. Takes himself so seriously.

the pants trick though.. I use it and it really works

Jack Klompus

reply

Yes Jack Klompus! I couldn’t think of his name.

reply

Lloyd Bridges and the Mandelbaums.

Seinfeld had a bunch of great guests. I really liked seeing Ann Gilbert (Millie from the Dick van Dyke Show) in "The Pen" as the Seinfeld's Florida neighbor.
"That's some pen. Writes upside down."

Another of my favorites is Kramer's friend Mickey. Those two were hilarious together, like when they were both stand-ins on a soap opera.

I like the girl with the cool black hair who said, race him Jerry, race him. and of course the spectacular Teri Hatcher.

“Lois”

reply

That is one of my favorite episodes actually! Now that I think of it. She was great, along with "Starts with uhhh 'Duncan'!!!"

reply

Yes, Lois, thank you. I was surprised to never see her in anything else.

Babu Bhatt

reply

Yes and he could turn from kindest guy in the world to the meanest, as quick as lightning in a bottle.

reply

So hard to pick just one... I love the way Mickey interacts with Kramer, though. Larry David as Steinbrenner was gold, too.

reply

Mickey is awesome. He and Kramer could've had their own episodes.

There were quite a few good ones. I don't know if Jacky Chiles counts or not (I think he did 5 or 6 episodes), but I would definitely count him. I also liked Kenny Bania, the Maestro, the Soup Nazi, Ramon (the pool guy who thought he was pals with Jerry), and the names of some of Elaine's boyfriends, like Todd Gack and Hal Kitzmeuller.

The thing about Todd Gack isn't so much the character or the actor but the fact that I always laugh when I think about Jerry saying "What kind of a name is Todd Gack?"

reply

I'd say Chiles counts! I love the others listed. The Maestro lol when he finally came out and conducted, and we see that he's the "Maestro" of a small ensemble...sooo funny. Ramon is another one of my favs, especially when he's messing with Jerry in the pool.
