A rerun of "The Fusilli Jerry" which I saw my Senior year in High School, 4 or 5 years after "Seinfeld" ended. I think it was how ridiculous and funny the proctologist storyline and Frank Costanza getting that pasta statue shoved up there.
I previously saw about 10 episodes all throughout my life (some were the first airing) and I thought they were boring, stupid or too grown up for me and couldn't understand it.

I always liked the one where Znep & Hawkeye Constanza get a job in a candy factory, and they're stuffing chocolates in their shirts, then pizzabagel shows up and says "you're doing fine,..speed it up!"

shareSomething about the show always made me change the channel, so I never watched a single episode when it aired. Then in my early 30's I rented two Seinfeld DVD's and started with The Fix-Up. After a couple of days I went back to the video store and got more...*grabs shango's shoe*...and we've been close ever since.

The Heart Attack. Just caught the last ten minutes of it whilst I was waiting for L.A. Law to start one Thursday night. I was like, what is this crazy thing? Laughed my ass off. After that I was a regular.

Newman had to be in it, but I don't know which episode. I strongly identified with Dennis Nedry in Jurassic Park because I was so much like him at the time. Newman was a similarly obnoxious Wayne Knight character. The worst thing about the trilogy for me was that they killed him off in the original Jurassic Park.

Well you were right not to believe me. I was quoting Frank Costanza. I don't think you really need to use spoiler tags on a 23-year-old blockbuster. If there's anybody who hasn't seen it by now, it's probably because they don't want to.

shareI was working at the time it first aired through most of its run, so I taped a random one to try it out. That episode was "The Pitch" and I loved it. The odd thing is after all these years the DVD extras point out that the whole NBC plot arc was a real gamble if you were not familiar with the show. Jason Alexander captured it perfectly on the DVD when he said, "The number one TV show right now is 'ALF.' 'Seinfeld' is for people like ME, and I don't watch television!" I didn't have much time for TV back then either, but I made time for "Seinfeld!"
