I saw a bad episode the other day. A real stinker.

It was the episode where Jerry's barber gets jealous because Jerry has someone else cut his hair.

Oh man, it was bad. Completely unfunny. I doubt any episode is worse than that one.

Well bear in mind the writers who worked on that episode were in the smaller office.

...and Kramer....and Babu....whatever his name was! It was a madhouse!

That Edward Scissorhands......... He maka me cry..........

The funny thing is, you cry, and then when he cuts your hair, you cry again.

It was done as an operatic parody. It was not a traditional episode.

Sounds a little, how you say, pedantic, snelling.

reply

He can be pedantic, he can be pedantic.

reply

WayneRW, I can see not saying hello. He's very… what's the word… supercilious.

Sitting through that episode sounds like it would be worth a year's free haircuts.

And a comb.

It's so funny, WeDon'tTalkAnymore.

The first time I watched The Barber, Enzo scared the crap out of me when he exploded and yelled out, "WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ON THE TOILET?!"

reply

Of course..........................

reply

Eh, it's okay. A little crooked..

I feel like the OP every time I see "The Frogger". How the hell an awesome series can make such a turd of an episode is still a mystery - until I realized that Larry David was long gone when this stinker was made. No wonder Jerry predicted the series would never have a 10th season!

reply

"The Frogger" is either the worst or second worst of the entire series run. I have many runners up to place next to it.

What's wrong with 'The Frogger'? I thought it was exciting and fun that a mainstream show like Seinfeld acknowledges and respects, even pays homage to an old Arcade game classic!

Back in those days, arcade and video games were not things masses even knew about, let alone respected. They were some nuisance in the fringe that your kid was stupidly obsessed with, if she was a retard. It was worse than cartoons, it was some ridiculous, 'bleepy-bloopy' crap that no adult in their right mind would ever respect or accept as valid form of entertainment.

How things have changed..

It might not be the best classic Seinfeld episode, but all the elements are there; Kramer couldn't be more kramery, Seinfeld is his usual self, George loses as always, and the Frogger homage with REAL traffic is hilarious, although pretty badly done. The thing that MOSTLY irks me about this episode is that in the real Frogger game, there's only room for TWO letters in the highscore list, so George couldn't have put three letters in there, unless it was some really weird hack of the game and not authentic Frogger machine.

I don't get why you would hate it that much, can you specify WHAT exactly is wrong with it? I hate when people just state their (usually wrong) opinion and then FAIL to base it on anything.

Come on, just explain WHY you think it's bad, maybe I can see your point. So far, I don't see much wrong with the episode, except Kramer's really nasty and repulsive 'friend'. He's really obnoxious and annoying.

reply

Are you saying it's a tad askew?

They were pretty rough, but they had something.
What was it?
I think it was the trousers.
