Road To Avonlea Complete Box Set?

Hello everyone. Does anyone know if Sullivan Entertainment is ever bringing out a box set of the complete Road to Avonlea Series? They've brought out each season on DVD, but not in 1 box set all together. That would be simpler than buying each season separately. Does anyone know any plans to do this or if it's already been done and I just can't find it anywhere? :)

Also, does anyone know why Sarah Polley disliked Road to Avonlea? It was a great show and gave her a great opportunity as an actress! I don't understand why she didn't like being on it.

There is not a complete box set of the DVDs. As far as I know, there is no plan to release one.

Interesting. Thanks for the link. I hadn't realized this whole anti-Avonlea attitude of Sarah Polley. Reading her comments reminds me of Ricky Nelson and David Cassidy. They both expressed similar malcontent with their respective series, only to embrace their former characters much later in life (after their careers had slowed significantly), glad that fans were still interested in hearing/seeing them perform.

I'm very late but maybe you are still interested. Amazon has the whole series for the high price of $204.

You can buy the entire series both at Amazon and at the official Sullivan website. Each season can be purchased individually, and the restored sets are much better quality than the older season sets. The newer ones tend to be more expensive, so shop around for a bargain. Sullivan has each season priced at $39.99, but in American dollars. On Amazon it's not always easy to know which version you are getting, especially if you purchase it from third-party sellers. When I ordered Season 3 I received the old set, but when I bought Seasons 4 and 6 from an independent seller I received the newer editions, which are a big improvement over the old sets; but unfortunately, the packaging is worse. Although the discs are single-sided (which is better) it's difficult to remove the discs and get them to stay in place when you put them back.
