i wonder if there is CC (closed-captioned) or subtitles on that movie "portrait of a marriage"?? i'm deaf and i would like to know if anyone of you have the dvd and see if there is CC or subtitles. thanks.

My dvd players sucks, but when I hit the subtitles button nothing happened. So I don't think it does, but I'm not positive.

No, the DVD I got from library did NOT have captions and it was VERY HARD to understand what anybody was saying, especially Vita's mother who was speaking in a very thick French accent!

I made Italian subs, but I can translate them in English if you still want to see the series :) Let me know
