I was 6 when this show was being re-aired and I thought it was great, Fast-Foward, I'm 25 now and I still think its great in fact I think its one of the best, if not the best animated incarnations of the Peter Pan story. I showed it to my Niece(8yo) and Nephew(6yo) and they loved it too. Its safe to say that I've been testing 80s-90s shows on them. Now they're glued to my laptop when I visit or when they visit me. They can't get enough of content from that time period. I actually grown to appreciated it more since watching these series again.

sorry I tuned you out

You are entitled to your opinion, but I love this show, it is for me one of the best and most underrated shows(animated or not) of all time, especially for the wonderful writing, great theme tune and Tim Curry's brilliant performance of Captain Hook(at his most complex here). I personally do not find it boring, quite the opposite as the characters and writing do so much to elevate, and despite it being an indepedent series I was surprised at how true to the book some of it was.

I somewhat agree. I didn't grow up watching this show (missed it), so I don't have the nostalgia factor here. But I have since seen it as an adult. It's a good show overall in it's animation, design, the different adventures they take, the theme song, and what not. But it's kind of flat next other versions I've seen. Seemed like it was trying to appeal to much younger audience than the original story did. Also the Fox version heavily borrowed character designs and story ideas from the anime, "Peter Pan no bouken", which came out only the year before, in 1989.

this was on FOX kids when I was in jr high. It was when the network was first starting up and could take risks re programming. Now of course they don't show this in the afternoons.
