Someone is restrained, with some kind of spring-loaded wooden cannon thing pointed at them. Attached to the cannon is a mess of ropes; someone cuts them one at a time with a knife, and when they do, it fires, lodging spikes of wood very-nearly-impale them.

shareI remember that scene well. Hook taunted Peter with the fact that if he (Hook) died then at least he would have known a full life, having been a boy, a youth and a man. Peter was so shaken by that that he did a complete 180 and decided he did want to grow up.
Also the bit where Hook bursts out of his restraints, laughing in fiendish glee, he looks positively demonic.
