NX Hunks and Hotties

Trying to stir up a little activity on this board--and what better way than to slide over to the shallow, superficial, but always seductive end of the discussion pool?

Who do you think was the most attractive man on Northern Exposure?

Who do you think was the most attractive woman on Northern Exposure?

You can choose to answer either question, or both. You can choose to respond solely from the physical perspective, or you can incorporate the entire package. You can choose to stick to only the principal characters, or you can choose to include guest stars or recurring characters, or you can break it out over those categories--and any others besides. And you can choose to share why you feel the way you do about [fill in the blank].

Ready . . . get set . . . GO!

It's always pathetic when the OP responds to his own post, but in the interest of keeping the ball rolling . . .

Most attractive men

Guest appearing in a single episode: Andreas Wisniewski, "Arthur" ("Wake Up Call"). Tall, rugged, and surprisingly gentle--right out of Maggie's fantasy.

Recurring character, or guest appearing in two or more episodes: Grant Goodeve, "Rick Pederson." Well, he was Maggie's pretty boy, and there isn't much competition in this category. Maybe if Adam shaved . . . nah.

Principal character: John Cullum, "Holling Vincoeur." Sure, Rob Morrow, John Corbett, and Darren E. Burrows are all handsome, and the last two may even be pretty. But Holling's haircut notwithstanding, Cullum had a rugged, reflective attractiveness about him. The smile is what seals the deal.

Most attractive women

Guest appearing in a single episode: Wendy Schaal, "Tammy Tambo" ("My Mother, My Sister"). Oh, my. Not only can the Tamster fill out a sweater and jeans, but she can move in them too. No way she's going to pass for Shelly's younger sister, but when they stand together I don't even notice that Shelly is in the shot.

Recurring character, or guest appearing in two or more episodes: Charmaine Craig, "Heather Haines." Sure, a spoiled Daddy's girl, but can you blame Ed for being tempted? A dark-eyed, dark-haired willow. Besides, if you put her over your knee for the corporal discipline she definitely needs, I'm not so sure that she wouldn't like it.

Principal character: Teri Polo, "Michelle Capra." It's always been Teri for me. The eyes, the hair, the lips, the chin. And the figure. Yes, Janine Turner is gorgeous but Polo is also a knock-out and her figure is much more pleasing. Michelle was anointed as Joel's spiritual successor, and she promised to have further adventures in the magical-realism realm had the series continued. I would have enjoyed seeing Polo's Michelle develop as a character while also being so very easy on the eyes.

Teri Polo is also an "Angel of Death." She joined NX as it was going through its death throes. Later, she joined the cast of Sports Night as it too was clinging to life support. Polo then joined for the final season of The Wast Wing, and she even appeared in one of the last episodes of Monk.

So, Maggie may have killed off men in NX, but Polo helped to kill off TV series in real life.

Michelle has a nice ass, but I'll go with Shelly. Her nose is so cute and she has great tits and legs.
