Actress who plays Minty

I'm at university with her - we're doing an English degree together. She's in her thirties now but when I first met her about 3 years ago her face and curly brown hair were unmistakable. She then chopped it all off and dyed it blonde which was awful but now it's back to brown and she's growing it out again. She's very chatty, always has something to say for herself (in and out of class). We are now going our seperate ways as we have come to the end of our degree! Shame!

Cool, tell her I think she is a fantastic actress in Moondial and I wish she was still acting today.

Its your turn Heather, no Heather its Heathers turn... Heather!!! ~ Heathers

Wow, that's cool. I was wondering what had happened to her - apart from a few radio plays she doesn't seem to have done anything in years...

I can't get on that site, take it I'm a bit too late?

I can't get onto it either argh- that sounds like a very worthy cause! Minty was great- thought I saw her on Casualty ages ago but might have imagined it. Please join my Facebook group 'Campaign to get Moondial rereleased on DVD'- I only have a knackered VHS version which has been played to death.

I have even been to the place where it was filmed- Belton House in Lincolnshire and have a photo next to the moondial in which I am wearing a shellsuit (so it was a while ago!)

I seem to recall that she got rather soapy in The Cloning of Joanna May, actually.

Moondial radio trivia...

1. There was a radio adaptation of the book about five years ago.

2. Siri Neal has done a couple of jobs for a company called Big Finish, which specialises in radio plays based on Doctor Who and other genre shows. She was the lead in a series entitled 'UNIT' (involving a climactic confrontation with a villain played, improbably, by David Tennant), and she was also in their epic 3-hour adaptation of the classic British comic 'The Adventures of Luther Arkwright' (again starring David Tennant, as the hero this time).

So there were no development contract with the BBC.
