I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm curious to know where the lighthouse from the film is located. I remember it was also featured in the Deon Estus video for "Heaven Help Me."
shareIt's by Beachy Head near Eastbourne. Only the lighthouse part is real the rest were adds on specifically for the programme and removed after filming.
shareAs mentioned in the previous reply the lighthouse is situated along from Beachy Head in the south of England.
The original lighthouse, known as Belle Tout Lighthouse was built originally in 1832 on the top of the cliffs as opposed to the possibly better known beachy head lighthouse which was built in the early part of the 1900's.
Unfortunately Belle Tout's position was deemed to be fairly ineffective due to the regular fog which shrouds the area necessatating the construction of a more effective lamp at the bottom of the cliffs which could be seen better in poor weather conditions.

Further to earlier replies, there is a small residential block on the north side of the lighthouse. Not sure how much space it offers. Also, it featured on the BBC eight years ago, when the whole structure was moved back about 17M from the cliff edge - part of the move was televised live!
