In DIRE need of DVD1 or VHS or BT location

I would really appreciate any help in locating a copy of this film in either DVD region1 format or NTSC-VHS. I had a VHS copy years ago I obtained from eBay but made the mistake of loaning it out and have not seen it since. It is a present for my wife this Christmas, as it is perhaps her all time favourite film. Even if you know a BitT. site where I can find it, that would be greatly appreciated. I'm quite sure it can be obtained in a reasonable stocked dvd-shop. It is at least available in my local dvd-store here in Holland.

Not that I've ever found. In fact, I don't think it's ever been issued in US/Region1 format, so if a rental shop were to have it (in the States), they would be in violation of copyright laws. I've been looking for a proper copy of it for years and have only ever managed a VHS bootleg. I've never seen it on any bit-torrent or such either. I guess I won't be getting it in time for this Christmas...thought someone here would help out..

I mail ordered the Holland release dvd (I'm in the middle of it right now.). You might consider getting a multi-region dvd player. There are many movies never released for region 1 (and might never be released).
