Lyndsay Frost? Guest passenger on QE2?

When Hyacinth and Richard are running through the QE2 and she approaches a man and pulls down the newspaper he's reading while he's seated in the lounge, Hyacinth makes a proclamation stating who that person is.

Who is this man?

There's someone named Lyndsay Frost listed as playing "himself" so I'm guessing it's someone famous. But when I look the name up, this name is only associated with a woman actress from The Ring, but no listing for a male.

Is this man someone famous? Perhaps someone we Americans may not be familiar with?
