Disappointed

At last nights episode April 11th 2014. Despite three second generation Irish on the panel - Paul Merton, Stephen Mangan, Roisin Conarty - the news of the state visit by the Irish president was discussed through the prism of the Long war/The Troubles, rather than contrasting Michael D Higgins work as Culture Minister 1993-7 in Ireland as a multilingual academic and published poet with the recent resignation of the UK's culture secretary for expenses fiddling.
Any discussion of Ireland in the news is the opposite of the Fawlty Towers episode "The Germans" - do mention the war.
