Does anyone remember an Australian/NZ? tv show, similar to this one made around the same time, Late 1980s/Early 1990s.

It was about a big clock thing in a shopping mall that was a time machine, The Clock had a Mannequin/Dummy thing in a 1930's type gangster suit, I also remember a magic Glass Ball and the Future world was a desert with people in orange overalls.

The series was actually called the Finder.A boy called Patrick is a contestant in a quiz.It was a book written by Emily Rhodda.Hope that helps!

It was called Finder's Keepers.

I had the book, but never watched the TV series
