Geez, I can't believe it. This does exist. I remember seeing this on the Disney Channel years ago when I was very young, but I could find no information about it. I thought I had imagined the whole thing. Turns out, it does exist!

Fantastic site, this is what I love about the internet. I saw this series as a kid. One thing is still remembered was that "shower scene" where the girl with purple hair steps into a device in the middle of the room to wash, and a beam of light goes over her body and removes all the dye from her hair...

I've been trying to find it for a while, I kept thinking "Andromeda" for some reason. Finally found with imdb power search: all Australian sci-fi between 1975-1995... Got 34 results :) And it still holds up watching a few clips, I was afraid it would look completely dated now.

Nice one, that's the same scene I remember. And the time machine which looks like the dome from The Crystal Maze. The time machine can also transport water from water vapour and pour it into a cup. I think in the sequal they made a time door and the bad people from the year 2500 stole it and started pumping fresh water through it.

This show was one of my earliest sci-fi memories and I loved it.

Oh and another thing I remember is the women from 2500 having built the very first transducer and Jenny reconised it from a museum she saw in the year 3000, again I think that might have been in the sequel.
