Favorite Episodes?

I loved this show and wished it was in reruns. What was your favorite episode(s). I have two favorites. One is the Kenny Rogers episode. The other is the one where Wood and his wife go to a cabin for the weekend.

Oldies network Antenna TV started airing the show again in reruns back in January. They air it every Saturday and Sunday night at 11 pm & 11:30 pm eastern time.

Good to know it's in reruns somewhere. We don't get that channel in our area.

I've been watching since it premiered on Antenna TV in January. This is probably the first time I've seen the show in nearly 20 years.

They air a few other shows I hadn't seen in about 20 to 30 years. Too Close For Comfort, Three's a Crowd, The Ropers, One Day at a Time, Burns & Allen, and The Jack Benny Show.

They also air a bunch of other great old shows that hadn't been aired for many years like The Patty Duke Show, Dennis the Menace, Mister Ed, McHale's Navy, Hazel, Father Knows Best, Barney Miller & Good Times. But I had already gotten all of these on DVD since they were off the air for so long.

Which season are they showing now?

What's the theme song that plays can you tell me?

Very good. But brick not hit back!

They're currently airing season 3. There were two themes. The first two seasons had an instrumental theme song and the last two seasons had a theme with lyrics written and sung by Bobby Goldsboro.

Here is a link to the first instrumental theme:

The following link has the Bobby Goldsboro theme, that went "They got 10 cent stores, no locks on the door, and everybody knows your name. They got Sunday school, the golden rule and every day that passes is slower than molasses".

I preferred the Bobby Goldsboro theme to the instrumental of the first couple of seasons.

Thanks rycki. I had been confused about that because I bought the first two seasons from a guy who had recorded them and the theme wasn't what I remembered from when I used to watch the show before.

I guess I started watching only by the third season since the instrumental theme doesn't sound familiar at all.

I agree about the Bobby Goldsboro theme. I used to love to sing along and that's why I was disappointed when I got the DVDs thinking that the guy had messed up somehow.

That sounds like a great channel. I used to watch all the shows when I was a kid.
