VEI planning a complete series DVD set

Seven years after Paramount released season 1 then gave up on the next 3 seasons, VEI has gotten the rights to the show and is planning a Complete Series release.

VEI has previously released complete series sets for many other TV series that were given up after their original DVD releases.

They've released The Mod Squad, Barnaby Jones, Cagney & Lacey, The Equalizer & MacMillan & Wife, which were given up on after their initial DVD releases years earlier.

Antenna TV has been airing Evening Shade, but they don't air all the episodes. They're starting over with season 1 starting 11-22-15, but in the middle of season 1. This will be the 4th time they've been through the series since it premiered on the channel in April and they air the same episodes every time. They air the same three 1st season episodes, Chip off the Old Brick (with Brian Keith) , Nothing to Fear But Harvey Lujack and Far From the Madden Crowd (with Terry Bradshaw playing himself as an old Steelers teammate of Wood Newton's), but skip all the rest of the season. They only air the same 6 of 24 season 2 episodes, all but one episode of season 3 and all of season 4. The only reason I can think of for not airing most of season 1 is there was a different actress playing Molly Newton in season 1 than in the next 3 seasons.
