No bunus features on series 4

Anybody else unhappy with this? Surely they could have had a few bits of interviews - it's not as if they couldn't fit anything on there.

Mind you, from series 4 onwards, there were no changes in cast, so that angle is out of the equation (albeit not a major one).

But they didn't even have an intro by the writers!

OK, rant over. Series 4 was still pretty decent (although not as good as series 3). And as for the final episode - boy am I jealous of Stephen Tomkinson!

"agreed the no extras was really disapointing"

Maybe it's more to do with the fact that Hamilton & Jenkin only wrote about half the episodes this series? Nick Revell and Malcolm Williamson wrote quite a few each here!

"and yes the blonde girl in the final episode was seriousily hot!"

[heavy sigh] . . . Sarah Alexander as a nymphomaniac. What more needs to be said? My head was turned when I first saw her in "The Worst Week Of My Life", and it's been permanently turned in her direction ever since!

In general, though, this series was an interesting one for Damien. Aside from being very jealous of him in the last episode, I also (for once) genuinely empathised with him in "The Day Of The Mum" - that episode hit me a little too close to home. To give you an example, last year, my mother and I were enjoying a holiday in Cyprus, and at one point she nearly run over. If I hadn't been there she would have come to a very grizzly end - and she doesn't even remember the incident! That's gratitude for you!

Of course, most of the time I still think Damien is a sicko, and am starting to feel that perhaps his fate at the end of series 6 was deserved, but still - every so often something happens to surprise you.

I was surprised at the no bonus features as well, They do have an awful lot on the first three, maybe they ran out of annecdotes! (unlikely) I reckon there'll be none on the next one as well but hopefully LOADS of stuff on the last series- perhaps that epsiode of Comedy Connections. I NEED them to talk about what happens in the last episode! It's so great.
Sarah Alexander is ACE! But the highlights of this series for me was Gus' breakdown over the first three epsiodes, man, I love it when he falls apart! "George, they've put me in the bed next to the door!!!"

Well, you were right on about no bonus features on series 5 - again a shame.

I hope they'll have something extra with series 6 - although it does look like it's going to be a single disc. Meaning 7 episodes, with not much space for anything else.

And I just realised I mis-spelled "bonus" on my initial topic header - "bunus" indeed. Rather stopid uf me, I most say . . . ;-)

I was really disappointed not to see Victoria Wicks appear in any of the extras. Anyone know why she didn't?

You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope

Sadly, the 'extras' were mainly interviews and anecdotes. I would have liked to have seen some outtakes and behind-the-scenes stuff. Maybe even the odd commentary!

Still a great show, though.
