I Loved This Series!

I used to watch this first when it came on and I loved it!! I actually found it on the Scream channel just a few years ago and I still found it quite enjoyable (though some of it was a little corny). I was thinking to myself, God, I should be taping these off! But I wanted them all, but lucky for me they started to show them all over again (b/c there werent many episodes of it) so now I have them all taped off! I love it!

information ?

I got my copies from Amazon. I LOVED this show. I was only about 11 years old when they stopped showing it, and here I am at 25, just estatic about the DVDs. However, you might be happy to know that there was a website that had the outlines to the second season. It gave me a BIT of closure, because of the abrupt ending to the series.

uh, you loved this series?! i couldn't even get through the first episode, that how cheesey it was. i mean, wisconsin cheese piled as high as the eifel tower! am i to believe that a 10 year old and his older brother are capable of destroying dracula?! come-on. and the poppy seed thing, what was that? those poppy's looked huge when they spilled....uh anyway, i don't think i would ever watch this show, and i'm trying to forget the few minutes i saw!

I just remember the theme song.

DRA DRA DRA DRUCLAAAAA!

Because sponges never have bad days.

of course it's cheezy as hell! it's not meant to be taken seriously. how many kids shows are there out there that aren't cheezy?

what helped to overcome the cheeze factor, for me, was that it aired directly before 'friday the 13th the series', so it sort of grew on me. also, Geordie Johnson is damn fine. didn't care for geraint wyn davies that much in this show, but that's because he looked too much like an nazi storm trooper. when i saw pictures of him in other things i developed a crush, but in this show? uh-uh. you see a guy like this in texas, if you've got a permanent tan like i do, you run for the hills or else you're found hanging from a tree. and not tarzan style, either.

the acting wasn't so hot. mia kirshner developed into a fine actress but you couldnt tell it from this. the situations were contrived and the music sucked. but i loved that it was on location -- never heard of luxemburg before then -- and i liked the sets.

i do have fond memories of this show, but it's something of an aquired taste.

I loved this series and I just bought both volumes on DVD from Ebay. Watching them now I just crack up. I had forgotten how cheesy fun it was. Whomever said Geraint Wyn Davies didn't look good in this show was kinda right. The slicked back hair didn't suit him. Much better in Forever Knight.

Then why are you even here? Seems like you'd still be trying to forget....

I loved this series and never missed an episode. I hated to see it be cancelled.

I was in my early 20s when it was on, and I loved it. Still do. Great show. I wish they would have done a second season. I hate when they end on a cliff hanger and never resolve it.
