One thing that always bugged me about this show was....

that the episodes were only half an hour long (including commercials). I mean, from what I recall, it was pretty much a straightforward adventure series and it's odd for something like that to be only half an hour long.

I guess if they did all two parters it would've worked better but as it was it was hard to tell a good story in the time they had and I seem to recall the show had a LOT of commercials.
