A Texan in the UK

Back in December 1993 I had the immense pleasure of traveling to London for a week. I was 12 years old and sported my UT ballcap the entire trip (which most Londoners found endearing, thankfully). The people were wonderful and always helpful as we zoomed around on the Underground and visited all the great landmarks. If memory serves correctly we stayed in the Earl's Court area. I was able to visit Stonehenge, Bath, and Salisbury and was in awe of all the beauty. It was cold as we were there in winter, but it was nice seeing all the snowy fields.

Anyway, for a couple of days I had the fortune of catching The Crystal Maze on TV. I had never seen anything like it back in the States and loved it! The ingenius puzzles the kids had to solve always kept my brain working. I haven't yet checked Netflix but I certainly hope this is on DVD so I can check it out again.

Sorry for the pointless post but I figured I'd throw my two cents in.

Update: After looking more, I guess what I saw was the Christmas special. Fun stuff... did the normal shows feature adult competitors?

Yes, there was only about 4 or so kids shows, it was usually adults.

Unfortunately, it looks like it's never coming out on DVD. It was never release fully on video either. There was a best of video which is fairly rare.
