ITV have bought the rights to The Crystal Maze and it might be coming back to tv in a brand new seris how cool is this so please everybody make ITV bring back The Crystal Maze.
Also it looks like if ITV bring back The Crystal Maze than Russell Brand will take over the role which was played by Richard O'Brien & Ed Tudor Pole.

I hope it does come back, it was a great show when it was on. Watching all those go getting & driven yuppies trying to solve a quiz & failing ha ha.
But seriously it was a great quiz.
Does anyone watch 'The Box' on ITV with that anoying turd Philip Schofield presenting? That's quite similar to the Crystal Maze albeit dumbed down & on a lower budget & made much easier.
Anyaway I think they should bring back Treasure Hunt too - from the same period as the Crystal Maze. Fab.
The Cube was actually offered to Channel 4, but because OF its budget they turned it down. It's expensive for the graphics they use in The Cube, I heard...
And I also hope it comes back, I was the first poster on The Crystal Maze boards a few years ago and I am SO looking forward to its revival. I knew if we nagged and nagged, someone would bring it back.
I knew TCM was on Channel 4 originally, but I have no problem with it being on ITV1. ITV has a load of great gameshows, although even they made a mistake getting rid of all the old classics like Wheel of Fortune, Play Your Cards Right, Price is Right (revived, then died again :/), Supermarket Sweep (they did revive this then its gone again)
Anyways, one wish: bring back The Crystal Maze, pleaaaseeee :-). I still love them on Challenge though :D :D

Russel Brand oh god i might shoot myself. That will completly ruin it. without Richard O'Brian its nothing. I hope it doesn't come back that way, it'll never be as good as it was. If The Crystal Maze does comes back it would have to have Ricky on it, and I don't think he'd come back now :-(

The wiki mentions Amanda Holden as the host, thankfully no mention of Rentboy Brand.
Personally, I think Channel 4 should bring it back, keep everything as it was and appoint Bill Bailey as the new host.
I can't see it being as good if they brought it back, these programmes never seem to be as good when they are brought back. I think personally this is because it suited the time that it was televised. I don't think Russell Brand would be any good but I don't think Amanda Holden would be any good either. I think they should just let sleeping dogs lie and we should remember the programme for what it was.

So it defiantly did not come back in 2010, I doubt it will and if it does, I reckon they might spoil it with touch screen technology.
Brand is too busy in America to be concerned with a game show on uk TV.
I would like to see this brought back on Channel 4 and supermarket sweep on itv.

Me and my partner have both enjoyed watching the re-runs on Challenge tv. However, watching it every night we have not only seen a lot of the games being played in every episode but also how the show has gone way downhill since Richard O'Brien left the series.
Edward Tudor-Pole (But you can call me Ed) was just a complete *beep* We have noticed that he would try to hinder the contestants rather than help them.
I hope it does come back. If Richard was not to return as presenter, we would love to see him as part of a 'mumsy' type role / mad bloke locked in one of the rooms - that way he could do certain shows but not be there full time. The presenter of the show could be 'Son of Richard' having come back to the maze after Ed left it in a state of disrepair.

I remember the kids game show Fun House they had to do questions, a little challenge, go-karts and then winning team did the Fun House. Children can't win money but they won prizes that they would enjoy, the team that didn't win they got t-shirts.
i am not happy with stephen merchant being chosen....
