What's that song?

Is there a name for the song that's played in the background during the majority of this movie (well, the majority of the part that i saw)?

It's just instrumental. A voilin-sounding instrument plays the beginning of it. It sounds kinda older-timer, pioneer-ish and I thought I've heard it before...

Anyone know the name?

I think the music you're referring to is "Ashokan Farewell". Check out this link to the PBS website for info on the musicians. Interestingly this tune is not from the 19th century.
